Where do you get all the baseball cards?

I have a large collection of cards that I use, and have built up a network of baseball card shops to supply most of my needs (special thanks to the guys at Clairemont Sportcards)  The internet is also a valuable tool for finding specific, or hard to find cards.  Typically I supply all the baseball cards used to create a picture.

Do you ever use valuable cards?

Yes.  Each piece is custom made, so the customer can request which cards they want used to create their piece.  Often times people will want cards used from their childhood heroes, as well as from their favorite team.  I recently finished a piece for a life long Dodger fan, and they wanted several cards representing their all time favorite player; Sandy Koufax.

How many cards are used in making a picture?

Your guess is as good as mine.  I have never really counted (I’m not sure it would even be possible)  I have never used two of the same cards in a picture.  Typically I will sort though thousands and thousand of baseball cards to find just the right ones to create a great piece of art.

Are the pictures really made with ONLY baseball cards?

YES.  I ONLY use original baseball cards to create each image.  Nothing is drawn or painted on.  Every last detail comes from pieces of original baseball cards (yes, even the pinstripes)

How long does it take to create a picture?

Typically a Jersey replica will take about 4 weeks.  Logo pieces vary depending on design.  Player pieces, the most detailed I create, can take anywhere between 8 and 12 weeks.

Can I buy a print?

Sorry, due to copy write and licensing laws, I’m not legally allowed to reproduce the images I create.

How much do your pictures cost?

Each piece is custom made, so the prices will vary depending on the design, size, and the cards used to create it.  You can contact me for a quote on a custom piece, or to find a gallery or retail store in your area.

How can I become a retailer?

I’m always looking to expand into new markets, so contact me and we can discuss any questions you might have (   I have created some “standard” design pieces (jerseys, logos) that are intended for the retail market.  Of course, I can also make totally custom pieces to meet your needs.
